our practice

our practice

ARJ stands for Acceptance, Responsibility and Judgment; thus, our approach is centered around accepting our consumers for who they are, taking the responsibility to provide our consumers a quality level of care and exhibiting sound clinical judgment when providing services.

Our ultimate goal is to have our consumers accept the need for change, teach them to take more responsibility and accountability for their actions, and teach techniques to improve their judgment pertaining to life decisions.

We utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions intended to motivate, empower, change negative thought patterns and build skills to assist our consumers with becoming more independent. We are dedicated to helping our consumers resolve issues, create positive ways to deal with life transitions, and help and encourage them to live their lives in a more positive and structured manner.

how to make a referral

how to make a referral

ARJ takes walk-in appointments. In addition, we have developed a referral screening form that the referral source is asked to complete and return to ARJ staff so that services can be initiated. ARJ staff makes the commitment to initiate contact/services with consumers within 24 hours of receiving referral information.
Determinations on appropriate service are based on the initial assessment conducted by our team of licensed clinicians. Admission to service is based on the assessment as well as the state developed entrance criteria for the specific service.

Please complete and print out this form and fax to our secure line at (980) 819-5694 in Charlotte, NC; or feel free to call one of the offices to have your referral completed with the assistance of one of our live intake specialist.
